Hiking trail - GR8

In Vendée, the GR 8 crosses along the Atlantic coast. This national long-distance footpath includes a circuit marked out in red and white.

Along the ocean from north to south of the Vendée department, the GR 8 covers 221 km of hiking. From Bouin in the north to the bay of Aiguillon sur Mer in the south, choose your route according to your desires. The opportunity to admire the exceptional maritime panorama offered by the coast.

Varied landscapes will pass before your eyes, from fisheries to salt marshes, from vast wild dunes to pine forests, from rocky coasts to beaches with remarkable viewpoints.
